County Intermediate Championship Round Two
Following their first round win over Carrick Davins, our intermediate hurlers will take on Arravale Rovers in the second round at Newport next Sunday evening with the throw in at 6.30pm. This game comes just less than a year away from the incredible game between the teams in last year’s preliminary quarter final at Holycross when Arravale prevailed after a penalty shootout.

Minor Hurling
Naomh Eoin face Portroe on this Wednesday the 5th of August at Borrisokane.

Our Junior hurlers will play Ballina in Ballina on Sunday August 16 next.

Under 16 Hurling
Naomh Eoin were defeated by Moneygall 3-18 to 2-16 in the seventh and final round of the championship last Wednesday evening July 29th at Gardiner Park, Borrisokane. Naomh Eoin face their quarter final on Monday 10th of August. More details later.
Under 14 Hurling
The Under 14 hurlers lost narrowly to Nenagh Eire Og 1-13 to 2-9 last Thursday the 23rd of July at Nenagh. Then on Thursday the 30th of July they lost to Kilruane MacDonaghs in the latest round. For their final group game they travel to Newport against Newport on Thursday the 6th of August. After the completion of the group stage the team faces a quarter final in the coming weeks. Date and venue to be clarified.

Naomh Eoin Under 12 hurlers and footballers enjoyed two fantastic days over the past week or so. On Tuesday 28th of July the Under 12 footballers travelled to Croke Park for a blitz when they faced Gualtier of Waterford, Eirn’s Own of Cork and Glenfisk of Kerry.

On Friday 31st it was the turn of the hurlers who travelled to Pairc Ui Caoimh and faced both The Lyre and Kanturk clubs from Cork and Ballybrown of Limerick.

Naomh Eoin under 12 hurlers will play Lorrha in their final group game on Tuesday the 4th of August in Lorrha. Three days later they are due to play Burgess in Ballinderry at 6.45pm before preparing for the knockout stages. Date and venue to be clarified.
