Intermediate Hurling

Shannon Rovers Intermediate team travelled to Tourloughmore for a challenge last and came away with a nice win.

Under 19 Hurling

Lorrha Shannon Rovers will commence their under 19 hurling campaign with an away game to Borrisokane on Wednesday 28th June.

The dates for the rest of the game are:

July 12: Lorrha/Shannon Rovers v Newport;

July 26: Lorrha/Shannon Rovers bye;

August 2: Kilruane MacDonaghs v Lorrha/Shannon Rovers;

August 9: Lorrha/Shannon Rovers v Silvermines

Under 17 Hurling

Shannon Rovers/Lorrha under 17s have completed the North/Mid under 17 A hurling League played over the last two months or so and now they prepare for the forthcoming championship. No information available on dates and venues at this time.

Exams

The club would like to wish all students the best of luck as they continue with the Junior and leaving Certificate examinations.

Under 15 Hurlers

The following are the North championship and North/West league games listed for Lorrha/Shannon Rovers Under 15 hurlers in the coming weeks.

On June 29th : North/West league v Golden Kilfeacle in Golden;

July 6th : North Tipp Championship v Borrisokane;

July 13th North/West League v Latten Cullen in Lorrha;

July 20th : North Championship v Portroe in Ballinderry.

July 27th : North/West League v Sean Treacys in Kilcommon;

August 10th : North Championship v Moneygall in Ballinderry.

Under 13 C Hurling Championship

Shannon Rovers lost their opening game to of the championship to Templederry at Fr Kenyon Park, Templederry last Tuesday evening. They play Borrisokane in Ballinderry on this Tuesday evening June 20 while they will be away to Ballina for round three on June 27th.

Under 11’s

The Under 11 Gaelic Football team will play Portroe in Ballinderry on this coming Friday. Throw in 7pm.

Under 7s

The under 7s continue their weekly training with Enda Hogan and company. There are plans for a hurling blitz either this Friday 23rd June or Saturday Morning 24th June, depending on availability of fields.
